Eritrea's flag is unusual and so is its story - a red triangle for the blood of the independence struggle, green for agriculture, blue for the Red Sea, and a gold olive wreath that stood on the flag of the liberation movement before it stood on the flag of the country. Asmara's modernist streets, Massawa's coast, Keren's markets, and a diaspora that runs deep in Washington DC, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Toronto all carry it.
These Eritrea Flag Rebel Sole Mid Tops split those three colours across the panels. Crimson red covers the toe and the mid quarter, green takes the lower panel and wraps the heel, and a blue section sits low at the rear. The flag is printed on the tongue in full - red triangle, green above, blue below, gold wreath centred - with the wreath emblem repeated in gold on the red quarter and ERITREA lettered on the blue panel.
