White base - the version where every colour on the shoe reads at full brightness.
Putting this artwork on white does something none of the darker pairs can. The crowned lion and the Selassie script sit on a clean white quarter panel, so the gold, red and green in the linework show properly instead of being absorbed by the base. The panel above the lacing stays green with gold and red splatter, the toe cap carries the red and gold pinstripes, and a red, gold and green band crosses the white heel. Black laces and a black collar are the only dark points on the whole upper.
