Personalized Basketball Coach Gifts
Our personalized basketball sneakers come in high, mid and low tops. The Jamrock High and the canvas TrenchTown High are high tops, the Rebel Sole is a mid top, and the Jamrock Low and IrieTrod Low are low tops. Any other model from our store can be made custom too, through a separate listing.
The price includes the design fee, which starts at $35 for a personalized design. That covers a name, a number or a date, or new colors on one of our existing designs, with up to 2 rounds of mockups. A brand new design built from your own idea costs more and gets up to 4 rounds.
You describe what you want in the design box on the product page, and you can send reference pictures by replying to the order email. Nothing is made until you approve the mockup.
Ideas for a Basketball Coach Thank You Gift
Start with the coach's name, or "Coach" with their last name. Then add something from the season: the year, the team's record, or the date of a big win. The team's colors tie it together.
A few more ideas that work well for a coach: the number of seasons they've coached, the nickname the players use for them, or a short saying they repeat at every practice. Pick one or two, so the design doesn't get crowded.

For a gift from the whole team, the simplest way is for one person to collect money from everyone and order a single pair on the product page. That keeps the free size exchange on the Jamrock and IrieTrod models, which team orders don't include.
If you're ordering for the head coach and the assistants, or matching pairs for the players as well, go through our Team & Bulk Orders page instead. There's no minimum and the sizes can be mixed. One design fee covers the whole order ($35 for a personalized design, $65 for an original one), a different name on each pair adds $5 per pair, and the price per pair is lower once the order reaches 6 pairs. We reply with a quote and a mockup, and once you approve the design we send an invoice with a secure payment link.

Getting the Coach's Size
The hard part of a surprise is the size. Our sneakers come in adult men's and women's US sizes, and each size chart lists insole length in centimeters and inches. If someone close to the coach can borrow a pair of their sneakers that fits well, measure the insole from heel to toe and choose the size just above that length. If it falls between sizes, go with the larger one.
You can also just ask the coach for their size and keep the design as the surprise.
Custom pairs can't be returned for a change of mind. A single custom Jamrock High, Jamrock Low or IrieTrod Low pair comes with one free size exchange, one size up or down, if you ask within 7 days of delivery. Rebel Sole and TrenchTown High pairs can't be exchanged for size, and neither can pairs from a team order.
If you're holding the pair for a banquet, keep that window in mind. It starts when the pair is delivered, not when the coach opens it.
End of Season Coach Gifts
For a banquet or the last game of the season, count back from the date. The mockup rounds come first. After you approve the design, a single pair takes 5 to 14 business days to make, and a team order usually takes 8 to 15 days. US delivery then takes 5 to 12 business days, and holidays can stretch both steps.
Christmas Gifts for a Basketball Coach
A Christmas gift comes in the middle of the season, so the same timing applies, with the holidays added on top. If the team gives gifts at the last practice before the break, count back from that day. Start the design early, since the mockups come before the making, and the holidays can slow down both making and delivery.
What Comes With the Pair
Jamrock and IrieTrod pairs come with 2 pairs of laces and a zip-top shoe storage bag as free extras, while supplies last. A few designs get a colored insole in place of the second pair of laces. Rebel Sole and TrenchTown High pairs come with one pair of laces in a regular shoe box.
If a pair arrives with a manufacturing defect or a print problem, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll fix it free.
